Jforce is Jumia's sales consultant program aims at empowering and enriching entrepreneurs-to-be with the full support of an established brand. Independent sales consultants are offered attractive commissions, flexible hours of work and regular training without committing to full employment with Jumia Nigeria. They run their businesses and stand the chance of earning unlimited amount of commission.
The Jforce team approached us to build a portal to achieve the following:
Automatically provide every registered Jforce agent access to relevant data about their personal and team performance, commission, recruitment as well as JForce news and updates.
Help direct agents focus by providing links to events, deals and promotions
Promote agent engagement via forums and community based events
Allow coordination of new level incentives and products access control
A website’s visuals speak volumes, but only if framed properly within a solid user experience. We wanted all jforce agents to enjoy the same experience of being part of the initiative whenever they logged onto the portal. The platform required a lot of pages ranging from the registration page to the user dashboards that displays all required sales information and metrics, an academy section for the agents to visit and get tips and trainings and a community section for full on engagement and interaction.
We made effective use of Jumia’s brand colors white, black and orange on buttons, texts and general displays, with a series of imagery for the home page and header sections of some pages. We kept the site clean with a lot of white space, since it had a lot of information to be conveyed through it, for easy reading and access.
The intuitive layout welcomes agents with the promise of a unique experience. Our team began by creating a homepage with clear calls to action. The portal is responsive across all devices and provides agents with 24/7 access to their performance, benefits, deals and promotions, trainings, news and updates. Through this the Jforce team has been able to promote agent engagement, loyalty, trust and motivation.
